Barack Obama Officially Endorses Joe Biden For The Presidential Office

Former POTUS, Barack Obama has shown his full support towards none other than his ‘close friend’ Joe Biden. He tells the voters that he has ‘all the qualities’ a president of the United States of America needs to have, especially now amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

This comes after months of speculations over not whom he would endorse, but when he’d endorse Joe Biden.

Yesterday, Obama finally took to Twitter to share a video message in which he declared: ‘I’m so proud to endorse Joe Biden for president. Choosing Joe to be my vice-president was one of the best decisions that I ever made, and he became my close friend. And I believe that Joe has all the qualities we need in a president right now… The other side [Donald Trump/Republican nominees] has a massive war chest, has a propaganda network with so little regard for the truth.’

He went on to say that: ‘On the other hand, pandemics have a way of cutting through a lot of the noise and spin to remind us all of what’s real and what is important. this crisis has reminded us governments matter. Now it’s time to fight for what we believe in.’

His announcement clip is no less than 12 minutes long so this is just a sneak peek of all he had to say about the former two-time vice-president, the current situation and more!

He definitely made sure to praise Biden for all of his accomplishments while in office.

At the same time, however, he asked him to go a bit more to the Left with his policies since public health options for all citizens as well as tackling the problem of climate change, are very important.

But Biden was not the only one he praised, Barack having good things to say about the other Democratic nominees as well, including Bernie Sanders who is also now endorsing Biden.

The former POTUS begged Sanders’ supporters to get behind Biden now that he is the presumptive nominee.
